The background of the painting is composed of an interesting mix of collage including wine labels and an image of a sail boat.

A truly striking and vibrant scene of a pair of roosters set within an expressive landscape dotted with trees and other animals. This white glazed bust has fantastic facial features, including turquoise ceramic eyes, and a jet black twisted moustache. His mouth is shaped into a small ‘o’, creating his slightly surprised look.
