The composition features broad and gestural brushstrokes that sweep across the canvas surface with great fervour. Thickly applied paint create areas of impasto where the paint stands proud from the surface, giving the painting lots of texture and three dimensionality. The colour palette is bold and vivid, with different shades of green working seamlessly together, and pops of purple, orange and yellow providing contrast and depth.
This dynamic oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame with an inner linen border. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has minor marks.
