A mid century modernist sculpture in iron, attached to an off-white granite base.

The sculpture features a tall, slender, abstract human figure. The figure is simplified into geometric shapes with sharp, angular lines, giving it a modern and stylized appearance.

The figure is crafted from dark, oxidized iron, giving it a textured, industrial look. It stands on a solid, light-coloured granite stone base, providing contrast to the dark metal.

This iron sculpture embodies elegance through simplicity, using abstract geometric forms to evoke the essence of the human figure. • Olive Wood Apple

    £120

    Available

Free shipping to UK, Europe and Singapore.

A small, intricately crafted sculpture of an apple made from olive wood.

The sculpture is carved from olive wood, characterized by its rich, warm tones and distinctive dark grain patterns. The natural swirls and veins of the wood are prominently visible, adding texture and organic beauty to the piece.

The apple is smoothly rounded, capturing the natural shape of a real apple with a slight asymmetry that enhances its realism. A small, curved stem extends from the top, also crafted from wood, possibly from a lighter shade of olive wood or another type of wood to create contrast.

The natural imperfections and grain of the wood are embraced, contributing to its rustic and handcrafted feel.

The piece is minimalist and realistic, focusing on simplicity and the natural beauty of the material rather than intricate detailing. It serves as both a decorative object and a celebration of natural craftsmanship.

  • Etruscan Horse

    Sold

    SOLD

A beautifully crafted Etruscan horse sculpture, handmade in patinated bronze.

This bronze sculpture is a minimalist and abstract representation of a figure riding a two-wheeled chariot pulled by a stylized horse. The rider has an elongated, simplified human form with minimal facial features. One arm is raised, holding what appears to be a small object, while the other arm extends forward to hold the reins. The figure wears a headpiece or helmet, giving it an ancient or warrior-like appearance.

The horse is depicted in a highly stylized and geometric form. Its head is elongated and curves downward, and it has a pronounced, comb-like mane extending over the head and neck. The horse’s body is reduced to essential shapes, with slender, angular legs suggesting movement.

The chariot is composed of two large, spoked wheels with a minimalist frame connecting the rider and the horse. The wheels are circular with four spokes each, adding to the abstract, geometric aesthetic. The structure is open and linear, emphasizing simplicity over detail.

Made of bronze, the sculpture has a dark, aged patina that enhances its ancient and timeless feel. The surface is slightly rough, contributing to its handcrafted, archaic quality.

This sculpture combines ancient motifs with modern abstraction, portraying a rider on a horse-drawn chariot in a highly stylized and minimalist form. The piece evokes a sense of historical significance while celebrating clean, geometric design, blending tradition with modern artistic expression.

It is in very good vintage condition.
