A vibrant and confidently executed still life portrayal of a table setting, executed in oil onto canvas.

At the heart of the composition is a cream plate with a blue rim, holding two fish. Surrounding the plate is a vivid yellow lemon, as well as two bottles in varying shapes and colours. The background of the painting has been abstracted down to a blend of muted shades of pink and sage, allowing the bold and striking colours of the objects to stand out.
