The composition depicts a nude figure standing beside a bed in what appears to be a bedroom The figure is viewed from the back, with arms raised as she is getting dressed. Beside her is a chair draped with a striking patterned fabric, and there is a widow in the left background framing a view of the outdoors.
The colour palette consists of a mix of rich shades including darker forest green and navy blue tones, contrasting harmoniously with lighter shades of yellow and blue.
The brushwork is smooth and gentle, contributing to the quiet mood of the scene.
