Green Vessels & House Form

A brilliantly executed and richly textured modernist still life oil composition that balances domestic familiarity with a subtle sense of abstraction, painted by the established Swedish artist Max Gregor Carlsson (1914-1996), whose works have been exhibited in public collections including the Malmö Museum, Eskilstuna Art Museum, Ystads Museum, Norrköping City Collection, and the Landskrona Konsthall.

This oil on canvas is presented in a charming, rustic wooden frame that has a gently distressed, whitewashed finish. The painting has some light craquelure due to the thickness of the paint, but it remains in very stable condition overall.
