The use of the impasto technique – where thick bold strokes of paint have been applied such the paint stands proud from the surface, adds texture and a tactile quality.
This oil on canvas is framed in a deep profile cream frame which suits the painting very well. There are very minor scuffs to the frame corners, but the overall appearance is still very good. The painting is in excellent vintage condition.
