A restrained palette comprising shades of brown and yellow has been used to up this stunning composition. As appealing as the simplicity of colour and form are in this piece, the use of distinct and energetic brushstrokes confidently executed in differing directions adds even more character to the painting overall.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary wood frame with an inner linen lining. The painting has a small tear to the right side of the canvas, and there are very minor scuffs to the frame edges.
