An expressive and beautifully textured semi-abstract landscape composition, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1985.

The composition depicts a pathway in a vast nature landscape, that leads towards the horizon. A small tree is positioned slightly off-center, drawing attention as a focal point against the open sky.

The painting is characterised by expressive and textured brushstrokes. The artist’s use of thick impasto layers gives the piece a dynamic and tactile quality. The textured surface creates depth and movement, inviting the viewer to engage not just visually but almost physically with the scene.

The colour palette consists of a mix pf greens, yellows, blues and white, that instills a sense of calm and a sense of hopefulness.

This oil on canvas is housed in a well-suited wood frame with an inner gilt window.  Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
