An expressive and scenic mid-century composition of a picturesque coastal setting, executed in oil onto board.

Nestled atop a rolling hill, a multitude of houses have been thoughtfully arranged along the hillside landscape. In the background, the vast expanse of the ocean meets the sky in a seamless fusion.

The artist has used a rich and vibrant colour palette, infusing the scene with an uplifting quality, and the expressive brushstrokes add a beautiful textural charm to the painting.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary gilt frame. The frame has some very minor wear, and there is a small damage to the upper right corner, but it is still very attractive. The painting is in excellent vintage condition.
