A rhythmic mid-century modernist style coastal landscape composition, executed in oil onto panel and dated 1979 on reverse.

The painting features a stylised and abstracted depiction of a natural scene, likely inspired by a coastal or riverside environment.

Two prominent trees with rounded and simplified canopies punctuate the foreground of the painting. Behind the trees, undulating hills and a serene body of water create a layered landscape that feels both tranquil and dynamic.

The colour palette is dominated by cool blues, greens, and light yellows, which evoke the natural tones of a coastal setting. These colours are layered with subtle gradients that create a sense of depth and space.

This oil on panel is housed in a complementary slim frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has small marks on its left side, as shown.
