Executed in rich colours and confident brushstrokes, this artwork depicts an 2 figures standing by coastal huts, overseeing the ocean and watching an incoming storm. They look out towards the choppy waters, admiring the fine spectacle and beauty of nature set before their eyes as strong tidal waves are crashing in the vast ocean.

With areas of thick impasto creating texture and three dimensionality – the work is imbued with a strong sense of movement, as one can almost feel the energy of the breaking waves.

This oil on canvas is housed in a slim cream wooden frame. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
