A vibrant and lively mid-century narrative painting, executed in oil onto canvas.

At the center of the painting, a group of 4 figures are portrayed beside a coast and a hut. They are each depicted engaged in various activities, and appear to be sorting out fresh catch of the day.

The colour palette used in the painting is rich and lively.  The artist has also employed expressive brushstrokes, and has intentionally left areas of the canvas exposed, using negative space to his advantage.

The oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame with an inner cream window. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
