A very well-executed mid-century interior setting  painting, executed in oil onto canvas.

The composition captures an intimate moment, where a female figure is undressing in front of a mirror. The scene is set in a well decorated interior space where we can see a chair as well as patterned design by the mirror.

The artist has used a rich and warmth palette, with striking shades of orange, blues, and green, creating a dynamic interplay of colours that brings energy to the intimate moment. The brushstrokes are expressive and loose, conveying a sense of immediacy and movement, while also imbuing the scene with emotional depth.

This oil on canvas is housed in a black painted frame with an inner gilt window. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
