The composition presents the top half of a beautifully crafted wooden chest that showcases intricate detailing and elaborate carvings. Atop the chest sits a bowl brimming with striking red apples as well as a vase.  Draping down from above, a piece of blue cloth from the curtain cascades gracefully onto the chest. This interplay between the sturdy wooden chest and the delicate fabric adds depth and interest to the scene. On the wall behind the chest, an artwork of a landscape scene hangs behind.

The painting is a testament to meticulous brushwork, with every detail rendered with precision and care, bringing the scene to life.

This oil on board is is housed in a beautiful and well-suited  wood frame with multiple profiles. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition
