This modernist semi-abstract composition presents a group of figures gathered and standing together in an orderly manner. All realistic details have been omitted, and there is a strong focus on colour and brushstrokes. The artist has worked with a fairly limited colour palette, using repeatable soft muted shades with hints of thin black outlines to highlight the silhouettes of the figures and to create a harmonious composition overall.

He displays his outstanding painterly skills, using distinct short and expressive strokes with the use of a palette knife, giving this painting a wonderful depth as well as several interesting layers of built-up texture.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary slim wood frame. Both the frame and painting are in excellent vintage condition
