In the foreground, a solitary figure wearing a striking red hat stands with her back to the viewer. She is enjoying the scenic and grand view of nature before her, where a lake is nestled amidst lush tranquil greenery.

Semi-abstract in style, the artist has intentionally omitted all realistic details and has embraced simplicity by reducing the composition down to a vibrant display of contrasting colour.

The varying hues of greens and blues complement each other very well, and the painting has an uplifting feel overall.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has scuffing present.
