This scenic composition presents a landscape in the front and middle ground of the painting, and in the background, a hill is surrounded by a body of water.
Semi abstract in nature, the artist has used planes of contrasting colours to demonstrate depth to the painting. Uplifting shades of green, blue and orange have been applied and mixed onto the canvas through the use of gentle brushstrokes, imbuing the painting with a soothing aesthetic.
This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary wood frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has minor areas of scuffing.
