An elegant and alluring mid-century still life composition, executed in oil onto board.

Set against a soft greyish-white background, a charming arrangement takes centre stage featuring a terracotta pot filled with delicate purple flowers as well as a lemon both placed upon a green table.

The artist has used expressive brushstrokes, and the colour palette chosen is soft and muted, lending a soothing touch to the painting.

This oil on board is housed in a very striking wood frame with a lovely painted pattern which enhances the overall aesthetic of the work. There is some light scuffing to the frame.  There are some minor paint losses to the painting, as shown in close ups, but the appearance is still very good.
