A vibrant and uplifting mid-century still life composition, painted in oil onto board.

On a table top sit a group of objects including some fruit,  tulips and daffodils in a vase, and a bottle.

Executed in a post-impressionist manner, the painting is characterised by rich and vivid colours as well as the thick application of paint in certain areas to create a wonderful textural and three-dimensional quality to the artwork. In addition to this, distinctive and patterned brushstrokes have been used to create swirly curls in the background, imbuing the work with an energetic feel.

This painting is housed in a stunning gilt frame with multiple inner windows that enhances the artwork, making it stand out. Both painting are frame are in excellent vintage condition.
