Abstract in nature, the composition has been reduced to its essence of blocks of contrasting earthy colours – reds, deep browns, and bold blacks. The background, sharing the same earthy palette, seamlessly integrates with the figure, creating a harmonious and unified visual experience.

The artist has also used swift and dynamic brushstrokes that convey a sense of movement and emotion.

This large oil on canvas is housed in a complementary slim wood frame. There is a tiny 1cm slit to the canvas but this is not obvious unless closely examined, a close up of this slit can be seen in the photos. Overall, the painting’s appearance is good. The frame is also in very good vintage condition.
