A pleasant and soothing mid-century modernist style landscape composition, executed in oil onto canvas.

The composition presents a hillside with a view of a small town with white buildings in the distance. The foreground consists of rolling fields with scattered trees.

Drawing on a distinctly modernist ethos, the artist has masterfully reduced composition down to blocks and planes of contrasting colour, and explores the use of colour and brushstrokes to create a sense of depth and space in this painting.
