A set of mini mid-century abstract figurative paintings that exude a subtle yet captivating presence, painted in oil onto canvas and sold as a pair.

The artworks feature semi-abstract figures rendered in soft, muted tones. The compositions are characterised by minimalistic and expressive forms, highlighting the human figure through simplified shapes and subtle contouring.

The left painting presents a solitary figure standing against a light, neutral background, with muted pinks and grey tones. The right painting features a seated figure set against a darker, contrasting background, with similar hues and strokes of yellow complemented by deeper shades of black and blue. The figures, though abstracted, convey a sense of poised tranquillity.

The artist’s brushstrokes are loose and textured, creating a raw, organic quality that enhances the sense of movement and form.
