An expressive mid-century still life painting, executed in oil onto board.

The background is composed of soft, muted greens and pale yellows, creating a subtle, harmonious contrast with the darker shades of the jug and the fruit.

The artist has used loose, expressive brushstrokes, which add a sense of movement and spontaneity to the piece. The visible strokes gives the objects an almost abstract quality, emphasising form over detailed realism.

This oil on board is housed in very well suited frame with with multiple border, adding character to the painting. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. The frame has some minor scuffing.
