The background reveals an open countryside bathed in the warm glow of a setting sun, with rolling, lush hills adding depth and atmosphere.

Embracing modernist expressionism, the work features simplified forms and a focus on emotional resonance rather than realism. This oil on board is housed in a complementary wood frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. The frame has some scuffing presents at its edges and corner, and the bottom left corner has a small loss as shown.
