Abstract in nature, the artist masterfully uses a reduced colour palette, utilising muted shades of grey and beige to convey a coastal atmosphere as well as cloudy grey skies above. In the middle ground, dark brown, grey, and tinge of light blue tones create a sense of depth and mystery, suggesting hidden depths beneath the fog.

The brushstrokes, applied with an unrestrained yet thoughtful touch, leave behind a light texture, adding to the painting’s overall transient quality.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary silver metal frame. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
