A brilliantly executed abstract oil composition that captures the essence of a serene coastal landscape with a minimalist approach.

The artwork portrays a figure on the left side of the composition, situated amidst a clifftop landscape of green and brown terrain, and with a visible coastline in the background.  Executed in an abstract manner, the artist has skillfully reduced and simplified these elements down to planes of contrasting colours that add depth to the composition.

The figure, depicted in a silhouette form and uniquely outlined in blue, stands out against the earthy and warm tones of the surrounding landscape and terrain.

The composition has an outstanding palette, consisting of muted cool shades of blue and grey, as well as richer earthy shades of brown and green.

The painting is housed in a simple gilt frame which suits it wonderfully. There are some scattered surface marks to the painting, and a tiny area of paint loss  to the top left, as shown. The frame has areas of scuffs and losses, as shown in the photos. Please note that the photos contain some glare.
