The composition sweeps across the canvas, presenting lush green fields dominating the foreground, while rolling hills and blue mountains stand in the background beneath a cloudy blue sky.

Semi-abstract in nature, all realistic details have been omitted and there is a strong focus on expressive brushstrokes and colour.

This oil on canvas is housed in a well-suited wood frame with an inner canvas lining. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. The frame has a scuff to its top edge (as shown in the close up photo) but this is not visible from the front and does not detract from its overall attractiveness.
