A striking pair of mid-century modernist abstract compositions, executed in oil onto canvas and sold as a set.

The artworks showcase a dynamic interplay of geometric forms in a vibrant, structured arrangement. The works are set against a bold yellow background, with carefully placed circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles in vivid primary and secondary colours. The compositions create a sense of balance and movement, reflecting the influence of Bauhaus and Constructivist principles.

These oil on canvas paintings are housed in complementary gilt frames. The painting on the left has a small loss at the top edge of the canvas as shown in close up. The painting on the right has a very small loss along the top edge of canvas as shown, but this is only noticeable upon closer inspection. Otherwise, both paintings are in very good vintage condition.
