A charming mid-century naïve style street scene painting that captures a gentle moment of everyday life, as two figures walk side by side along a softly curving village road, executed in oil onto board.

Modest houses with pitched roofs line the street, their forms simplified into harmonious blocks of colour, while a tall green fence guides the eye toward the distance. The figures, seen from behind, lend the composition a quiet intimacy and a sense of unspoken narrative – suggesting companionship, routine, and the calm rhythm of a small town.
