A delicate mid-century nude figurative composition, executed in oil onto board.

Simple yet effective in its composition, the painting features two tall and slender nude figures, their backs gracefully turned to the viewer. Set against a tranquil beige backdrop, the artist has outlined their semi-abstract forms with loose darker strokes – accentuating their forms and creating a harmonious dance of shapes and lines.

The gentle and fluid brushstrokes, coupled with a naturalistic colour palette imbues the artwork with a soft and soothing aesthetic.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary slim silver frame. There is a faint long mark across the painting which is visible in the photos (and as shown in the close-ups). It is light mark on the surface of the painting, and does not scratch into the paint layer. Otherwise, the painting is in good vintage condition.
