The composition depicts two houses distantly nestled in the vast expanse of planes of snow. Above, the sky merges with the snowy landscape, painted in the same subdued tones. In the center of the painting, a delicate yellow sun emits a touch of quiet warmth to the overall composition and is a focal point of the painting.

The artist’s gentle and flowing brushstrokes evoke a sense of serenity, capturing the stillness of the snow-covered plains and sky, and the limited and subdued colour palette contributes to the minimalist and soft aesthetic.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary wide-profiled  gilt frame. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition
