Working with a modernist ethos in mind, the artist has intentionally chosen not to focus on realistic details, and instead explores the use of colours, brushstrokes and form to create a sense of depth and space in this painting.

Blocks of contrasting colours in lively shades fill the canvas, and together with the expressive and swift brushstrokes that have been executed in a scribble-like manner, the painting has vibrant and energetic quality to it.

This large oil on canvas is housed in its original mid century frame that pairs perfectly with the painting. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
