Bold earthy tones of greens and browns fill the surface, imbuing the painting with an uplifting feel and warmth. The artist has outlined the respective forms with thick darker lines that further accentuate their three-dimensionality.  Short, urgent, and bold brushstrokes have been executed in an invigorating and confident manner, adding a wonderful energetic as well as a light textural quality to the painting.

This oil on board is housed in a distressed style wood frame with an inner gilt window that pairs wonderfully with the painting. The painting is in very good vintage condition, and the top edge of the board is exposed. The frame has areas of paint loss and marks, and there is also a small gap to its left corner join.
