Three figures are depicted, presumably musicians. The central figure stands prominently, holding a ukulele, while the other two figures stand in unison. The trio are all dressed in flowing dark grey attire with scarves across their heads that is tinged with red. They are unified by their attire yet individualised by their distinct poses. They stand against a soothing cool blue and grey backdrop.
Through the use of a limited colour palette, the artist has skillfully reduced the composition into blocks of contrasting shades, boldly outlined to convey depth and highlight the silhouettes of the figures.
This oil on canvas is housed in a stunning wood frame with gilt tint to its inner border. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
