A very well executed mid century modernist still life composition, painted in oil on board.

This painting is a still life composition featuring an arrangement of bottles, jars, and vessels on a tabletop. It is probably an artist’s table , as we can see used paint brushes and palette knives in the bottles.  Rendered in a loose, painterly style, it captures the textures and forms of everyday objects with expressive brushwork and a subdued yet rich colour palette.

The colour palette is primarily earthy tones—browns, muted greens, and soft blues—contrasted against a neutral grey-beige background. The light source is subtle, creating soft highlights and shadows, giving volume and depth to the bottles.
