Semi-abstract in nature, realistic details have been intentionally omitted and the painting is characterised by planes of contrasting colours as well as sweeping, fluid brushstrokes.
The artist has used an interesting palette of sandy tones with subtle touches of green and pink, adding a nostalgic, almost dreamlike quality to the piece.
