The painting features a table setting within an interior, with a carefully arranged assortment of objects. The focal point is a striking large pot of blooming red amaryllis, and we can also spot an orange and a radiant yellow jar placed atop a blue cloth.

The backdrop is a seamless blend of light blue, yellow, and green, creating a harmonious interplay of colours that wonderfully complement the hues of the objects.

Expressive and textured brushstrokes imbue the scene with a sense of energy, giving this still life a lively as well as tactile quality. And the rich and uplifting colour palette adds depth and warmth to the overall composition.

This oil on canvas is housed in a well-suited wood frame. The painting has light craquelure to the right flower as shown in close up but paint layer is stable overall. The frame has some general scuffing.
