A playful and emotive mid century modernist abstract composition painted in oil onto canvas.

Abstract in nature, the painting focuses our attention on non-objective artistic elements such as colour, line, shape and form. As the work does not represent visual reality, the artist has instead used these respective elements to emphasise his inner feelings and emotion.

The  differing geometric shapes that have been executed in an assortment of lively bold colours including yellow, red, blue, orange and brown define this space on the canvas to form an aesthetically striking pattern as well as invigorate the painting with an energetic feel.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary slim black frame. There are small areas of paint losses to the upper side of the painting, as shown in the close ups.
