This semi-abstract composition depicts a female figure in an interior setting, with her gaze facing downwards.
The artist thoughtfully painted the figure’s face in muted orange, and this is juxtaposed against the rest of the palette comprising soft and muted shades of beige, green and yellow. This contrast in colour creates a focal point for our eyes, as it first captures our attention when we lay our eyes on the painting.

This oil on board is housed in its original mid century gilt frame with an inner linen border. The painting and frame are both in excellent vintage condition.
