A wonderfully executed modernist style landscape oil composition, signed and dated 1942 by the established Swedish artist Ture Fabiansson (1910-1994), whose works have been exhibited in public collections including the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, The Museum of Art in Gothenburg, Jönköping Museum, Borås Art Museum, and many others.

The composition presents a lush landscape setting rich with foliage and fields, painted in a spectrum of vibrant greens and yellows. At the heart of the composition, a small figure stands by a tranquil lake, offering a sense of scale and human presence amidst the vastness of nature.
