The artist has skilfully omitted all realistic details, reducing the architectural forms to blocks of contrasting shades.

The overall colour palette is a harmonious blend of muted, subdued tones, including pale blue, soft pinks, white, cream, and touches of mustard yellow. This choice of colours imparts a calming, gentle feel to the piece.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has very minor wear but this does not detract from its overall appearance.
