Set against a backdrop of darkness illuminated by intricate patterns, a horse is depicted in bold strokes of vibrant hues and exudes a sense of power and dynamism. A rider stands beside the horse, his form similarly delineated by confident strokes.

The dark backdrop serves as a dramatic contrast to the vibrant figures in the foreground, creating a sense of depth and atmosphere.

This oil on board is housed in a beautifully decorative frame with a gilt border. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has some paint loss to its corners as shown.
