A very large and expansive mid century landscape composition in oil, painted onto canvas.

This painting depicts a picturesque view of houses within a lush landscape of vibrant greens and yellows. Large gestural brushstrokes imbue the composition with movement and dynamism, conveying the liveliness of the natural landscape. Set within the landscape are two orange roofed country houses that create focal points for our eyes as viewers.

This expressive landscape has the ability to transport us to a place of tranquillity and rest.

The oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame with an inner linen border. The painting has some light marks but is in good vintage condition overall. There is light age toning  present to the linen border of the frame.
