This scenic composition presents a row of colourful houses surrounded by nature with a lush meadow and hills in the distance.
The painting wonderfully captures the peace and tranquility of nature – brought forth through the use of soft and gentle brushstrokes, as well as thorough the use of light and muted pastel colours including shades of green, yellow, purple and orange that imbue the painting with calm.
This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame. The painting is in very good vintage condition. There is some scuffing to the bottom edge of the frame.
