A very large and vibrant modernist style landscape composition, painted in oil onto canvas in 1975. 

Featuring a luscious landscape with horses grazing in nature by a barn, this composition explores the expressive potential of colour and brushstrokes. 

Painted in a post-impressionist style and reminiscent of artists like Van Gogh, the artist has used exaggerated and curving lines of rich and vibrant colour, to convey his emotionally charged response to the nature landscape. 

The painting is housed in a well suited gilt frame with an inner linen lining. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has areas of scuff.
