Short and swift brushstrokes have been used to capture the dappled sunlight shining through the trees and the open field on this warm summer’s day; and the overall composition has calm qualities and distinct elegance to it.

Th oil on canvas is in excellent vintage condition. It is is housed in a thin gilt frame, that has minor areas of paint loss.
