A serene and atmospheric composition of a coastal landscape at dawn, executed in oil onto board and dated 1967.

The painting, semi-abstract in nature, omits all realistic details, instead focusing on the interplay of colours and light. Gentle, smooth brushstrokes create an atmospheric and moody sky filled with rolling clouds. A faint, glowing line of orange at the horizon as well as in the clouds hint at the impending sunrise, casting a subtle warmth across the scene.

The coastal landscape elements blend seamlessly into the composition, inviting viewers to feel the tranquility and quiet anticipation of the dawn.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary gilt frame with multiple profiles. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has some marks at its inner border as shown.
