A large and meticulously detailed mid-century interior still life composition, executed in oil onto board and dated 1946.
Punctuating the centre of the composition is a vibrant pot of blooming pink cyclamen flowers in a blue pot, sat upon a window sill. The view beyond the window offers a glimpse into an urban architecture filled with buildings.
The gentle and meticulous brushstrokes bring to life the delicate translucency of the curtains. The artist’s attention to detail is evident in every petal and leaf, showcasing a skillful rendering of the plant.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary painted wood frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has some scuffs and nicks as seen in the photos.
