A striking and beautifully textured mid-century abstract oil composition, that has a strong focus of colour and brushstroke.

The artwork shows a harmonious blend of colours, predominantly white, blue, orange, and hints of green undertones. Punctuating the centre of the canvas is a burst of invigorating rich blue hues, and a vivid punch of orange accents at the bottom right of the painting that adds a burst of warmth and vitality.

The artist has used broad and sweeping brushstrokes that evoke a sense of movement and dynamism, as well as the impasto technique to create areas of built-up texture, adding character to the painting.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary slim silver frame with red undertones. The painting is in good vintage condition. The frame corners have some scuffing but nothing that detracts from its overall attractiveness.
